Summer was great but the fun doesn’t need to end. We’ve reduced our off season rates and minimum nightly stay to accommodate a weekend getaway. Whether it’s fall fishing, deer camp, a ladies’ weekend, a winter retreat, ice fishing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling....this is the perfect spot. Get your family together here for one of the holidays that occurs between October and May. During ice fishing season, we have a 6 hole spearing/angling fish house available for rental for $150 per day (see photos). A small village forms on Little Mary each winter because the fishing is so successful there. We spent 9 months renovating the house and are excited to share it with you. Everything was designed with our guests in mind...relaxation, fun, comfort, convenience and cleanliness. A lakeside addition, 50 feet from the shore, will likely be the gathering area when people are not out on the lake, outside by the fire or sitting on the lakeside deck. We are excited for the memory making to begin. Lake Mary is a clean lake with excellent fishing. Property owner, Mark, is an avid fisherman and will gladly provide some tips upon request. Bass and sunnies are guaranteed. Walleye are abundant as well. The property sits on a bay. The depth increases slowly, making this ideal for young swimmers or for wading in. The bottom is sandy and the water is clear. You will have 100 feet of lakeshore to enjoy. There is a dock for your boat should you choose to bring one. There is a pontoon available to rent daily ($200) or weekly ($600). The property is in a quiet country neighborhood. It sits on a dead-end road and has an open field behind it. There is a large yard to play in and plenty of parking. For the nature lover: View breath-taking sunrises on the lake side, gorgeous sunsets in the back and star gazing at night. There are two bald eagle's nests near the property. Their flight pattern is in front of the property so daily sightings are likely. Loons also live in the bay. The central lakes trail is adjoining the park with miles of paved trails for biking, rollerblading, running and walking. The hills also have mountain biking trails. In winter these trails are groomed for snowmobile and cross country skiing. There are sledding hills and an ice skating rink at Brophy Park as well. This is a fabulous place to bring the whole family any time of year. This cute cottage on Brophy Shores is also conveniently located within walking distance to Brophy Bay Mart which has a gas station, liquor store, and small convenience store with groceries, bait for fishing, newspapers, and ice cream for the kids! Also, nearby Brophy Resort offers pontoon and fishing boat rentals. A very large 14' x 54' deck overlooking the lake has a 6' overhang, and is a great place to relax and unwind. A fire pit is located on the lake side bank, overlooking the lake. The house is located within 2 miles of downtown Alexandria where you will find many shopping and dining options. We have now added wifi and Netflix!

Welcome to Brophy Reflections, a year round rental property! Built in the early 60's this rambler boasts beautiful sunset views from a bank overlooking Lake Brophy. Park your vehicle in the attached garage and walk into our comfortable, tastefully furnished home. You will be drawn to the large living room windows and look out over the lake. Cozy is what you'll feel when you turn on the gas fireplace. We have Directv, along with a smart TVs &DVD players. The dining table seats 6-10 with the two leaves.. The fully furnished kitchen has microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and one bath are at the south end of house and can be separated by closing the pocket door. Great for napping and quiet time! In our new finished upstairs bathroom you'll find towels, and a limited supply of tp and kleenex. There are wash cloths, hand and bath towels for our guests to use. Downstairs the washer and dryer are available for your use. The Blue Bedroom has one queen bed, and one twin. A full size bed is in the Purple Bedroom which looks over the lake. The Master Bedroom has a queen bed and a corner window with a lake view. Downstairs we have a fourth bedroom with a full Tempur-pedic (firm) and a twin bed. Downstairs you'll find a cozy spot with a sofa bed and loveseat. The large ottoman also has a pull out twin bed. There is a 32' flat screen with smart DVD player. Wifi is provided. The little kitchen downstairs is furnished but has no dishwasher (dishwasher is in upstairs kitchen.) The downstairs bathroom has a walk in shower with a seat. Laundry facilities are also downstairs. The downstairs is like an apartment: kitchen, bedroom, bath and living room with a gas fireplace. Go out the downstairs door and walk onto a shaded patio. The new steps down to the lake are many but there is a landing with a bench you can take a rest or watch the lake action. Brophy is a quiet lake on the chain. A sand beach area, leveled grassy area is there for you to enjoy. A dock with a boat slip is for your convenience, along with a Kennedy paddle boat, kayak and paddle board. You may swim, jet ski, water ski, fish or whatever. Please have lots of fun but at the same time respectful of the neighbors. Our front yard is family friendly. There is a fire pit with chairs out front. Also, a dog kennel which has a doggie door to the shed. Yes, you may bring your dog with prior approval and additional fee . Dogs must remain on leash, kenneled or downstairs. A Dog Addendum must be signed. Brophy Reflections is less than 10 minutes to Alexandria. Beautiful sandy Latoka beach is only 1.5 miles away and Lake Brophy has a new public beach with a beautiful play center, and bathrooms on the west side of the lake. Go another direction and travel that same distance, just around Lake Cowdry to the bike/walking path; take this path west to the new Brophy beach. Alexandria offers so many outdoor opportunities. During the winter Brophy Reflections is less than half a mile to the snowmobile trail. After a great day of sledding you will come home to a cozy warm house. If you enjoy skiing and snowboarding Andes Tower Hills is about 15 miles away. You can fish on Brophy or go to one of the area lakes. Golfing is convenient as ArrowWood is only a 10 minutes drive. The beach is hard sand with a boulder lined shore. There is plenty of room to tie up your boat to our new aluminum dock using the affixed slip hooks. Fishing is great right off the dock given there's a drop off about 20' from the end of the aluminum dock where many locals fish regularly. You will love the beautiful sunsets from the deck, as you're enjoying a meal grilled on the Weber gas grill or from one of many fold up camping chairs down by the lake but the fire pit (fire wood not provided, but may be purchased at multiple locations in town 2-miles away). You can grill your food and sip on your favorite beverages while watching the calm, clear waters of Lake Cowdry. There is central A/C on the main floor and window unit A/C in the basement though it is rarely needed given the amount of shade our home gets and the many windows allowing for great cross ventilation.

Our kitchen is fully equipped and there is another full size refrigerator by the washer and dryer. Bedroom 1 has a king, bedroom 2 has a queen and a twin, and bedroom 3 has a queen bed. The living room includes a fireplace and a flat screen TV with DVD player. For your entertainment, there are many DVDs and board games for all ages to enjoy. For your convenience, kids toys, a pack and play and high chair is available. A full dock is provided allowing ample area to tie up boats. We also have a kids kayak, paddle board, sand toys and bean bag game for outdoor fun. A large propane grill is provided. At the end of the day you can enjoy the fire pit close to the lake (firewood provided). The lake home is conveniently located just 10 miles south of the Alexandria exit on Interstate 94 West and the public boat landing is just 2 miles away. Lake Reno Grill and Bar is accessible by boat. We provide 1 kayak for your use, along with a sandy area for the littles to enjoy. The swimming area is weed free and ready for fun! The lake is clear water, quite and peaceful. Our villa was built in 2007 and is in a quiet development with 700 feet of lakeshore and a public boat landing 1/2 mile away. It has a sandy beach and gradual elevation to the lake. The home has a modern kitchen, a great room with hardwood floors and a 16 ft stone fireplace, and a loft with master bedroom and large master bath. Our western exposure means the sunsets are amazing.
